DESIGN: Perfect Combination is right!

The home of Suzanne Dutton and her partner Kris Torma is absolutely
one of my favorites!  The easy mix of mid century modern and country chic.  I love the open floor plan of the house, designed by Architect Walter Burley Griffin.  I really love this house! All the special little touches from the stone eggs at the red front door to the beautiful tree wall covering by Elitis, oh must mention the pretty thonet chairs painted white! AND Look at the completely sweet pillow case, "Here you will dream of endless kissing." Sweeeet.
What is your favorite bit?

  2. Gorgeous place... I love the 1960s sideboards, and the wallpaper, and the white painted Thonet dining chairs (is that the designer? I have two similar ones at home). I especially like the light & airyness of the space. I'd move straight in! x

  9. Yummy! I am so envious of that backyard door/wall from the livingroom--perfection! btw, we must be separated at birth, I was always seriously underweight until college and couldn't wear a size 0 but was too big for a girl's sz 12 and my mom would take me to Saks and other nice stores with personal shoppers where they could help me find "special" clothes. Those were the days! Hope you are having a good week!
